(v. 3) "Then the LORD said to Jacob, 'Go back to the land of your ancestors and to your relatives, and I will be with you.' " (v. 20) "Jacob also tricked Laban the Aramean by not telling him he was leaving." (v. 31) "Jacob answered Laban, 'I left because I was afraid. I thought you would take your daughters away from me by force."

He called that place Bethel, though the city used to be called Luz." (v. 22) "and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God's house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth."

They brought them safely outside the city." (v. 26) "Lot's wife looked back and turned into a column of salt."
